About Tustin EV Charger

A licensed C-10 electrical contractor that installs electric vehicle charging equipment and nothing else.

We Narrowed Down to One Kind of Work

Most electricians treat charger installation as one more line on a service menu that also includes recessed lighting, panel repairs, and ceiling fans. We went the other direction and made charging the entire business. The reason is practical: an EV charger is an unusual load. It draws near its maximum continuously for hours, often overnight when nobody is watching it, in a garage that may be the hottest part of the house in August. Circuits that are perfectly adequate for intermittent loads fail under that duty cycle, and the failures show up as tripped breakers, warm receptacles, and charge sessions that quietly stop at two in the morning. Doing this work every day is how you learn which details matter.

Licensing and Certification

  • California C-10 Electrical Contractor.

The state license class required to perform electrical work in California. Every job is performed under it.

  • EVITP Certified.

The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program is the certification specific to charging equipment. Several utility and public programs require it.

  • Bonded and Insured.

General liability and workers' compensation coverage in force, with certificates available before work begins.

  • Manufacturer Certified.

Trained and approved across Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox, Enphase, Emporia, and Grizzl-E equipment.

How We Price and Schedule

  • Flat-rate, quoted after a load calculation.

We do not quote hourly. You get a fixed number tied to a defined scope, and it does not move unless you change the scope.

  • Permit filed before we start.

The City of Tustin Building Division record is part of the job, not an upsell.

  • Same-week scheduling in most of our coverage area.

Panel upgrades take longer because the utility disconnect has to be coordinated.
